Toe nail care
Nails trimmed and tidied properly, including the thickened ones that ordinary clippers will not touch.
Podiatrist and chiropodist, North Shields
Jacqui Mewburn has been looking after feet since 1998. See her at the clinic on Northumberland Square, or she will come to you anywhere across North Tyneside.

Most people put up with a sore foot for far longer than they need to. A corn that never quite goes, a nail that has thickened past the point of cutting, heel pain that bites on the first step out of bed. None of it has to be lived with.
Jacqui has been in podiatry since 1995 and qualified in 1998. She still works as a podiatrist for NHS North Tyneside, and she runs JM Podiatry alongside it, in clinic and out on visits.
Treatments
Everyday foot care through to the things that have been bothering you for years, plus many other foot complaints besides.
Nails trimmed and tidied properly, including the thickened ones that ordinary clippers will not touch.
Discoloured, crumbling or thickened nails assessed and treated.
The nail edge that digs into the skin, dealt with properly rather than dug at at home.
Corns removed. One patient came in after years of other podiatrists and it took a matter of minutes.
Built up hard skin reduced so the pressure comes off and walking feels normal again.
Verrucae assessed and treated, on feet of any age.
The itching and cracking between the toes, sorted quickly.
That sharp heel pain in your first steps of the morning, properly assessed.
How you walk and run, and what it is doing to the rest of you.
Where she sees you
Not everyone can get to a clinic, and that should never be the reason someone goes without foot care.
Northumberland Square in the centre of North Shields, with appointments also at The Dental Practice and at Sanctuary House.
Home visits across North Tyneside, for anyone who would rather not travel or would find it difficult to.
Visits to residents in their nursing home, at their own pace and in a room they already know.

After years of seeking help from various podiatrists for a persistent and painful corn, I finally found relief with Jacqui Mewburn at JM Podiatry. She removed the corn quickly and painlessly in just a matter of minutes, leaving no mess behind whatsoever. Jacqui is incredibly professional, friendly, and clearly knows her craft inside out. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Jacqui is very experienced and knowledgeable. I've been to see her for two separate issues and she has provided quick, effective and pain-free treatment while providing helpful advice too. She's really good value for money and a lovely woman too. I'd really strongly recommend her for any podiatry needs.
Jacqueline visited my mum in the nursing home. She was so gentle and sensitive with my mum and mum is feeling much better since her nails have been cut. Jacqueline noticed my mum's skin was really dry and could potentially start cracking so we have been able to start treating it.
Jacqui has been helping me for the last few months and she's always welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. She's given great treatment and advice and it's starting to make a real difference, thank you.
Great service. Managed to get me in at short notice. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
